KLINIKI YANGU — MY CLINIC VISIT
Independent learning prototype by Kevin Gakarau | September 2026

OPEN THE PROJECT
Open index.html for the case study, or lesson.html to start the lesson.
Keep the files and assets folder together. No build or installation is needed.
All names, hospital identities, reference IDs and appointments are fictional. Saving the practice card does not
book an appointment or set a real reminder.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
- English/Kiswahili interactive lesson, with language switching during practice
- Full-paragraph SMS highlighting, visit-status interpretation, a matching appointment card and a clarification scenario
- Three full-message transfer questions with first-attempt and hint-use handling
- Printable bilingual appointment aid
- Facilitator protocol and observation sheet
- CSV content and interaction storyboard
- Case study with design rationale, sources and an evaluation plan

PROJECT STATUS
This is a working independent prototype, not a deployed maternal-health programme.
It was created with AI-assisted drafting and implementation. No testing with
pregnant women or independent clinical-context / Kiswahili review has occurred.
Device narration is optional and depends on a matching browser voice. No recorded
narration track is included. A text/read-together fallback is provided.

CHECKS COMPLETED
JavaScript syntax; English/Kiswahili content-key parity; first-attempt, retry and
hint accounting; continuation rules; internal links; example date/day agreement;
principal text/button contrast calculations. The three existing Articulate courses
in the full portfolio package are unchanged byte-for-byte.

CHECKS STILL NEEDED
Browser layout and end-to-end interaction checks on actual phones and keyboard.
The managed preview is unavailable for this static-only site.
Visual rendering and live device narration were therefore not verified.
Review the Kiswahili with a fluent local reviewer and the context with an
appropriate maternal-health professional before testing with intended learners.
The included facilitator guide describes a proposed formative study, not results.

PRIVACY / CONNECTIVITY
The lesson has no analytics, registration, personal-data entry or server calls.
Practice state lives in the current page and is cleared on reload or restart.
The local package works without content downloads. Device speech may require
connectivity; availability is not guaranteed. There is no service worker, offline
reopening guarantee or background sync.

STANDALONE USE
Extract this ZIP before opening the files.
Open lesson.html in a browser to launch the interactive lesson.
Open index.html for the case study and links to printable resources.
Keep the files and assets folder together. Both fonts are included locally.
The portfolio links point to Kevin's existing online portfolio.

HOST SEPARATELY
Upload the extracted folder to a static website host such as Netlify.
Keep index.html at the upload root. No build command or installation is needed.
This package is independent of the full portfolio and includes no other courses.
